The Tiergarten area of Berlin is a prime central location for commercial development. The district is known locally as 'the embassy quarter' and takes it name from the area's public park, a former royal hunting estate. The Köbis Dreieck is a triangular site of some 2.3 hectares in the Tiergarten. The design of the new KPMG headquarter was the result of a two-stage international competition. The core of the building consists of a daylight flooded atrium space over 6 floors. The ground floor with the entrance hall provides all public facilities including conference spaces, meeting rooms, canteen, catering, library and other ancillary areas. The upper floors consist of flexible office space with social break out areas. The executive floor occupies the top level with amazing views across Berlin.
